This year I decided to have the boys each carve little pumpkins. Poor Alex had been throwing up and sick with a cough all day, but that didn't stop him. Both boys were very proud of their pumpkins and thought that their own was the scariest!

For Halloween Alex decided to be Darth Vader. He has a thing with the dark side I guess. His costume also has a voice changer to make the breathing noises like the real Darth Vader. James, who often fights with his brother, decided to be Obi Wan Kanobi. I thought that was pretty fitting that the boys were on opposite sides.
Alex was still pretty sick, but wanted to go trick-or-treating anyways. We made to about three houses before he made me carry his helmet, light saber, and treat bucket. By the time we got to the end of our street he was crying and wanted to go home. James still wanted to trick-or-treat so thankfully my good friend Kendra let him go with her kids. He had so much fun and they also invited him to stay the night. This will be his first sleep over at a friends house. Good luck Nick and Kendra!
Happy Halloween everybody!

I'm glad Andrew's not the only one who likes to be the "bad guy"! I hope Alex is feeling better soon, the stomach stuff is the worst! Scott is out of town too (he does get to come home for less than 24 hours in between TDY's). Good luck!
We had some "Dark-siders" at our house too! Good thing for Star Wars. Oh what would we do. Hope Alex feels better...maybe after a bucket full of candy!!! Hope you are doing well too. How bout a Mary update?? Love ya!
Your boys are so cute! I miss you guys! I sorry that Alex is sick. so sad! Love you!
Sorry to hear about your sick baby. IT is always so much fun to have things like that running ramped through your house. I love the costumes, and way to be super mom. You make me jealous. Call or come visit anytime, I love having other adults to talk to. Great posts, keep them coming!
Great costumes! I hope Alex is feeling better!
Sorry that Alex wasn't feeling well for Halloween, what a bummer. Kendra is so nice! :)
How funny that they are "on opposite sides". I guess there has to be opposition in all things, even among siblings.
Sorry that James is still stuck in the black hole of Guam. I hope he makes it home this week!!!!
I love the costumes--your boys look pretty cute! I hope Alex is feeling better, it's a bummer to be sick on Halloween. I hope that James gets of the the 'black hole' of Guam soon!
