Families Can Be Together Forever!

While the rest of the family was upstairs, Alex was down stairs singing his heart out singing Families Can Be Together Forever while playing cars. Jamesy and I tried to sneak up on him to video him, but he caught us. After a lot of begging Alex finally let me take this video of him. It isn't as loud or funny as what we heard from upstairs, but it is cute none the less!

New Family Pictures!

While we were in Utah my good friend, Terra, took our family pictures. She is an amazing photograper and we were really lucky to finally have our whole family in Utah when she had time.

She also took pictures of James and I together. This one is my favorite!

I love this shot of Alex! Alex has inherited the ability to raise one eye-brow from his daddy. I also like this picture because Terra got Alex to have a natural smile which is not very easy!

Jamesy loves the camera! He is always giving his best smiles!

Thanks again Terra!!!

An Idea for a post from Rikki,

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.I am really interested to see what you come up with. Just try not to tell too many embarrassing stories.

We're home again!

Well, we made it back to South Dakota. We had a lot of fun in Utah, but it is good to be back home again. Hopefully we will be able to finish unpacking soon so it will really feel like home again. While we were in Utah we went with some friends to see a Real Soccer game in Salt Lake City. It was our first soccer game and I have to say that soccer fans can be a little crazy. It was fun to hang out with old friends.
Alex is going through the "fake smile stage" on most of our pictures so just enjoy!

We had a lot of fun over the fourth of July. We went to a barbeque at my mom's and then went to Clearfield City's fireworks. They were awesome! After the fireworks we went back to my mom's and did some of our fireworks. The boys loved it!

We also added another member to our family. We adopted an adorable minature pinscher and named her Aella. She has so much energy in between her many naps. Here is a picture of her wrestling Dutch, my sister's dog.

Aella has decided that James is his favorite. I don't blame her! He's my favorite too!

We also went boating with James's brother Bryan and his girlfriend. My brother Danny came along with us too. Unfortunately, I was having issues with Lupus that day so I didn't get into the water, but I still had fun.

Uncle Bryan even let Jamesy drive!

Alex was so funny! He just laid there like a lump. We were worried that he wasn't having a good time until he got off the tube and into the boat and asked to go again. Funny kid!

We were house sitting for my ex-step-mom. They live kind of on a farm and while we were there we were able to ride horses. James really loved being around all of the animals.

The boys couldn't wait!

I also had my 10 year High School Reunion while we were out there. I had such a good time catiching up with old friends! Thankfully, a lot of us have kept in touch over the years so it wasn't wierd.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone we saw in Utah. It was a lot of fun spending time with everyone.!
