Some of you have been asking for updates on me. Well, I got some good news today. I have been seeing several doctors for this pregnancy and for the whole Lupus issue. That has meant a lot of visits to the doctor for tests. I got back a positive result for a rare genetic mutation of DNA that puts me at risk for blood clots and the baby at risk for birth defects a few weeks ago. Interesting because this is totally unrelated to Lupus. Thanks to some great advice from Tera Lynn I got a blessing and felt at peace about it. I had to go in for follow up tests and I got results back today that the baby shows no signs for birth defects and I show no signs for blood clots. That has taken a lot of stress off my mind! I'm so thankful that the baby is healthy and developing normally. I have also reached a point where I'm not feeling as tired as I have been. I'm not sure if I'm out of a Lupus flare for now or if I'm just past that first trimester yuck. Either way I'll take it! I'm still having issues with joint pain, but I think its getting easier to deal with because I'm getting used to it.

Never worry about borrowing links. I got the link from someone else. I think they are cool and it helps the kids feel involved seeing what the baby looks like. I am so happy for your positive tests!! I know you have been dealing with a lot of stress and I hope you know how much I admire your amazing positive attitude. Keep me posted, I am just a phone call away!

Kira-I'm almost 4 months. I'm due around May 7th. I hate trying to keep track so I love that babystrology thing.

oh it so official. I totally suck as a friend. I didn't even know you were pregnant until I asked someone on Sunday. I guess being home with a newborn and never checking blogs has put me behind a bit. None the less I am totally thrilled for you! That is such great news. I am also happy to hear that James made it home.
