Jamesy's first ski Trip

Jamesy went skiing for the first time last friday! He has been waiting for the last few years to go with James and I. We finally decided that we could handle taking him when he turned five. He was so excited to go and bugged us as soon as it started snowing this year. A good opportunity finally came up this month when we were all in Utah. We were able to fit in a short trip to Brighton before James had to go back to Rapid City to deploy later this month.

We enrolled Jamesy into a kinder-ski school and we had a lot of fun watching him learn. He kept a great positive attitude the whole time. He was very excited to see his mom and dad near by and talked to us a little too much, so we decided to give him and his instructors a little space.

Here is a picture of him skiing all by himself. We were so proud of him. We can't wait until next season to go again.

What a cutie! All those mini skiers are so adorable.

Nathan is deployed right now, too. How are you holding up? Are you staying in Utah for the deployment?
